There’s nothing better than slipping into a flowy maxi dress on a hot summer day. When balmy turns to brutal, there’s not a lot else you can wear that will feel as easy, breezy and comfy as a sundress. That’s why I like to stock my closet with several options to rotate throughout the season. If your wardrobe needs a refresh, the good news is that Anthropologie is chockfull of great summer dresses — and there are tons of styles on sale. Whether you’re searching for something to wear to the beach, out to dinner or to a wedding, you’ll want to take a look at these 10 flattering heat-beaters, up to 70% off.

Feel cute, comfy and covered in this midi dress. It has loose, short sleeves that hit just above the elbows and tiered skirt that falls below the knees. It’s smocked in the back and has elastic around the sleeves, waist and collar for an extra comfy fit.

“I purchased this because I think the fit is very flattering, especially for us girls who have a little belly,” said one reviewer. “I feel it runs true to size.”

If you’re looking for a dress that’s as comfy as a big T-shirt but can be dressed up for work or play, this is the one. It’s actually a light, knit sweater material — great for chilly evenings or windy summer days — with a ribbed collar and patch pockets on the front. It comes in four colors, as well as regular, petite and plus sizes.

“It can be styled casually with some fun sneakers or sandals or for work with some heeled booties or flats,” shared one shopper, before warning that: “I usually wear a M but they only had an XS available as it was on sale, and it definitely fit well, so do size down if needed.”

This sundress is a whopping 70% off! The other reason you should get it, though, is because of its elasticized waist, which makes it comfortable to wear all day, but also makes it uber flattering. However, some shoppers noted in the reviews that the print is a mix of pink and purple flowers over mint green (not white).

“The pictures don’t do justice to the dress, it is beautiful,” said one person. “It’s true that the colors are not the same but it’s more beautiful in person. The dress has an aqua undertone and it looks darling with the flower colors. It looks amazing on!:

“This is a beautiful, simple dress!” gushed one woman. “The peach color is so vibrant! It’s a delightful color and the dress is just so easy! Easy to wear and so comfortable!”

There’s nothing “mid” about this midi — it’s light, airy and slightly relaxed — not fitted, not loose, just right. Slip it on on a hot day to wear with flip-flops, sandals or heels.

“If you’re looking for a nice comfy and cool dress for summer, this is the one. I like loose fitting dresses that look good and this one does the trick!” said one customer.

If this dress evokes strolling by the beach, ordering oysters at happy hour and soaking up the rays on a torrid summer day, well, that’s by design. All cotton and lined with soft modal, it ties at the shoulders and it has pockets. Wear it with a straw bag and flip-flops.

From vintage muumuu to “Whoa, mama!” this number amps up the sexiness with ruffled straps and a structured V-neck. It’s on sale in three colors and prints, but this floral pattern is versatile enough you could also wear this dress in the fall under a denim or leather jacket.

“I personally loved this dress,” said one person. “I styled the black motif one with a belt to give it structure and honestly I thought I looked super good on a night out to dinner.”

Here’s another great find for a summer wedding or any night you want to dress up! This one-shoulder style features an oversized bow on the front and a red polka dot print all over.

“I purchased this to wear to a wedding this summer and the compliments were endless!” said one shopper. “The colors are vibrant and the bow just sets this dress apart from anything else I’ve ever seen. Length was perfect and didn’t need any hemming. If you’re feeling a little bloated, this dress is perfect.”
