This is the best day of the week to go shopping at Trader Joe’s



According to a study conducted by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), Trader Joe’s is among Americans’ favorite supermarkets. The analysis, based on a survey of more than 40,000 customers, places the chain based in Monrovia, California, in fourth position in the ranking with a score of 84 points.

Given its huge popularity, its unique offers and its wide variety of products, it is no surprise that the store has a high volume of customer traffic, so knowing the times when the supermarket is emptiest it can be an important aspect when making your purchases.

This is the best day of the week to go shopping at Trader Joe’s

According to a post made by a Trader’s Joe employee on Reddit, there are certain times and days of the week in which the supermarket has a lower flow of customers. These are the ideal time for customers to come to do their shopping without having to deal with crowds.

The days include Tuesdays and Wednesdays; while the best time is around 4:00 p.m.

What about other supermarkets?

According to the aforementioned ACSI study, other supermarkets that are among Americans’ favorites are Costco, Whole Foods Market, Aldi and Publix; But what are the best times to go to them? Below, a list, according to an analysis carried out by the Solo Dinero web portal.

  • Costco: Tuesday and Thursday mid-afternoon
  • Publix: Wednesday and Thursday mornings
  • Whole Foods Market: Wednesdays and Fridays, before 5:00 p.m.
  • Aldi: Monday and Wednesday
