Two-level, 33,000-square-foot Planet Fitness clubs planned

ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis area will be getting “swole” as four new Planet Fitness locations are in development.

The announcement was made by Midwest Fitness Partners (MFP), one of the largest and fastest-growing Plant Fitness franchisees.

A 30,000-square-foot facility has been planned for the Gravois Bluffs Shopping Center in Fenton later this year, according to a press release.

Three, two-level, 33,000-square-foot facilities have been planned for Bridgeton, Arnold and St. Peters over the next two years.

The new locations will bring the total to 21 clubs in the St. Louis area.

Planet Fitness offers state-of-the-art cardio machines with individual TVs, strength equipment and several flat-screen TVs, fully equipped locker rooms, a free weight area and more.

The new facilities will be open and staffed 24/7, according to the press release.

“We are excited to bring our Judgement Free fitness experience to more communities in the St. Louis metropolitan area,” said Mike Hamilton, COO at MFP.

“At Planet Fitness, we offer an affordable membership for a high-quality fitness center and welcome anyone, at any fitness level, into our friendly, comfortable, and non-intimidating environment. We encourage you to come check out our new locations soon and see what our unique, Judgement Free Zone is all about.”
